Thee Thicket Hunting Preserve >> Youth Hunt

Thee Thicket is also a great place to introduce the younger ones to a quality hunt, as they are likely to see numerous deer during every venture. We love to introduce young new hunters to the sport, as they are the Sporting Community's most valuable asset. There are also sunken graves and other activities of interest, such as night time predator calling, which they seem to really enjoy. A rare bird breeding aviary 30 minutes away adds much to a complete and enjoyable outdoor experience.

Our Youth Hunters also receive special treatment. Special deer stands are set aside just for them and we encourage their first deer to be taken with provided muzzle loaders, as this adds to the excitement. We have many 8 pointers roaming the property and we will do our best to put them on one.

Instinctive style shooting instruction is available with an advanced notice. Guided hunts for children are invaluable experiences that will last a lifetime.

While we welcome all Youths, hunters under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
